Guide to Control Hair Fall Naturally – Hair Loss Treatment

Natural Remedies for Hair loss – Cause & Cure

Hair loss has become a worldwide problem especially in youngsters.  It is hard to predict hair loss but usually it is influenced by hormones and genetics. Most men suffer from hair loss due to the conversion of testosterone in to DHT (dihydrotestosterone). DHT is probably the culprit that kills hair follicles and can also precipitate prostate enlargement. Smoking, hormonal imbalances and not enough sleep can also affect how your hair feels and looks. No magic nutrient can make up for those concerns.

Still, you have a lot more leverage than you might think. If you eat a balanced, varied, protein-rich diet that focuses on the following foods, you will be giving your hair the TLC it needs and deserves. The healthy meal is the home remedy which can prevent the hair loss and baldness.

Get Enough Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Salmon: Which is rich in protein and vitamins D are the key to strong the hairs. The OMEGA-3 fatty acids found in this tasty cold water fish are very good for our hair. Our body cannot make those fatty acids, which our body needs to grow hair faster. Omega-3s are also found in cell membranes in the skin of our scalp and in the natural oils that keep our scalp and hair hydrated.

Walnuts: These are the only type of nut that have a significant amount of Omega-3. And walnuts are also rich in biotin and vitamin E which protect our cells from DNA damage. Too little biotin can lead to hair loss and walnuts which have a copper, a mineral that keep our natural hair color rich and lustrous.

Eat Zinc & Protein Rich Foods

Oysters: Oysters are very rich in zinc, a lack of which can lead to hair loss as well as a dry, flaky scalp. We can get some zinc through fortified cereals and whole grain breads, but oysters can boast a good level of protein too. Drayer says that hair is about 97% protein and without enough protein our body cannot replace the hairs that we naturally shed every day.

Give Your Hair A Vitamin & Mineral Boost

Sweet Potatoes & Eggs:- Sweet potatoes are a great source of antioxidant beta carotene, which our body turns in to vitamin A. This vitamin helps protect and produce the oils that sustain our scalp and low vitamin A can even leave it itchy, irksome dandruff. Carrots, cantaloupe, mangoes, pumpkin and apricots are also a good source of beta carotene. Eggs which are loaded with four key minerals: zinc, selenium, sulfur and iron. Iron is a major cause of hair loss, particularly in women.

Spinach:- The iron, beta carotene, folate and vitamin C in spinach help keep the hair follicles healthy and scalp oils circulating. Leafy vegetables such as broccoli, kale and Swiss chard are also rich  nutrient.

Greek yogurt:- Cruise the dairy aisle for low fat options such as greek yogurt, which is high in hair friendly protein Vitamin B5  and vitamin D. Drayer says that too little vitamin C in our diet can also lead to hair breakage. We should also take Kiwis, Sweet Potatoes, tomatoes and strawberries

We should also oil our hair properly and avoid using too much of shampoo and hair dryer. It is always good to let our hair dry naturally. If at all in emergency you have to use the hairdryer, keep it on a cool MODE. A good hair conditioner is a must, but do not apply it on your scalp but only on your strands of hair.

If there is dandruff in your hair massage the scalp with pure coconut oil or you can apply a mixture of almond oil and gooseberry juice with finger tips on the scalp. You may also apply the warm mixture of olive oil, lemon juice and coconut oil. Do a steam-towel-wrap for 15 minutes and wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Heat the oil with little camphor and apply it in the scalp and massage for 15 minutes. Wash the hair with tea once in a week.
